The Bighorns easily defeated the Texas Legends tonight, 161-127. Dar Tucker tied the NBA D-League scoring record tonight with 58 (!!!) points! The Bighorns last home game is coming up Tuesday, March 31st. Get out and see the Bighorns for their last home game!
The Bighorns almost pulled off a huge upset of the Central Division’s First Place Sioux Falls Skyforce (121-118). The game went back and forth and neither team ever got much of a lead but in the end, with the Bighorns down Quincy Miller, Jordan Hamilton, David Wear (all called up to the NBA…) and David Stockton out for family reasons… whew… the Bighorns ALMOST pulled off the upset! With the both teams out of the playoff hunt at this point in the season it’s all playing for pride at this point… the Bighorns took another one from the Idaho Stampede 128-113. Here are some shots from the night, tried a remote from the catwalks… not overly happy with them, didn’t have a long enough lens so I went for the graphical element of the team name and website…
The Reno Bighorns led for much of the game but the first place Rio Grand Valley Vipers persevered and took a win on the road against the Bighorns. Here are some shots from the night… tried the backboard camera again… never completely happy with it but I did get some good shots with it. 🙂
The Bakersfield Jam came into Reno with the best record in the NBA D-League and left one game further in the lead… The Jam beat the Reno Bighorns 127-118

The Blues visited again this month… Reno seems to be struggling with the loss of the three NBA 10 Day Contract players, David Stockton to the Kings, Quincy Miller to the Pistons and Jordan Hamilton to the Clippers.
The Blues were on tonight and the Bighorns were not, the Blues shot 52% vs. the Bighorns 32%… Here are my images from the night.
Tough loss for the Bighorns tonight 139-137 to the Bakersfield Jam. The Jam are in first place in the West right now so the win would have helped the Bighorns in the standings a wee touch…
The game went down to some last second heroics of Bakersfield’s Archie Goodwin, he finished with 35 points on the night so he certainly made his mark on the game, right down to the last three seconds and the game winning bucket.

I had to miss the game on Tuesday, 103.5 degree fever… never had that before, it’s awful, AWFUL! Hope you all stay healthy this season!!
The Blues tried to throw off the Bighorns tonight by shooting the other direction during warm ups… and I’ll say, it’s worked in the past but I think it just pissed off the Bighorns tonight because they walked away with a 124-95 win. Here are some images from the night!
